Nobody Teaches You How to Live With Diabetes.
You’re told to “change your diet,” but the everyday questions are left unanswered. Diabetes can affect what you eat, how you feel, your routines, and how you approach daily life.
GlucoCoachAI provides educational food insights, lifestyle information, and supportive tools to help you better understand everyday diabetes-related choices — so you’re not left searching for answers on your own.
We Know Exactly What You're Going Through
Picture this:

You're invited out to eat or planning dinner with your family. Your stomach drops because every choice feels like a test. You start Googling:
"safe meals for diabetes"
"is this food okay for diabetics"
"low-carb options near me"
Five articles, five different answers.
You pick something that seems "safe," but the whole time you're wondering if you're doing it right.
And it's not just restaurants. It happens at the grocery store, at parties, when you're stressed, when you're tired. Every decision feels heavy.
Not just the diagnosis—but managing the decisions nobody teaches you.
What to eat. How to track. What's normal. What's not.
Because your health shouldn't depend on guessing, Googling, or juggling multiple apps.
Someone (and something) that can say: "Here's what to do now. Here's what's right for you. You're going to be okay."

This is what nobody prepared you for.
Or this:
It's 11pm and you can't sleep. You're thinking about your numbers, your meals, your doctor's advice, tomorrow's plans, and whether you're doing enough.
You search online again. More conflicting information. More fear. More doubt.
No one ever tells you how to handle these moments—or how to feel confident about your choices.

My Story
My name is Jay.

A1C: 11.8 → 5.9 in 6 months
Living with diabetes, building solutions.
January 2025: I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.
A1C 11.8. Fasting glucose 322.
I was terrified.
My doctor said:
“Change your diet, change your lifestyle, and take this Metformin ER I’m prescribing. We’ll check on you again in 3 months.”
And that was it.
No roadmap. No real guidance. Just… figure it out.
So I tried. I looked everywhere for answers. I downloaded every app. I researched food before going anywhere. But every source said something different — and I still didn’t know what was actually right.
But the hardest part wasn’t the diet.
It was the isolation.
My family didn’t fully understand the fear. Friends meant well, but didn’t get the daily mental battle. And most apps gave me data — not direction.
I needed someone who had been through it. Someone who could say:
“Here’s what to eat. Here’s how to stay on track. You’re going to be okay.”
After months of trial and error, my A1C dropped from 11.8 to 5.9. My doctor called it “amazing.”
But the truth is… it wasn’t amazing.
It was exhausting, confusing, and lonely.
That’s why I built GlucoCoachAI — not as a business idea, but as the tool I desperately needed.
I paid for it with my own savings. No investors. No big team. Just a belief that something like this needed to exist.
It’s not perfect. But it’s a start — and I want to keep building it with the diabetes community.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed right now… I get it.
I’ve been exactly where you are.
The Tool I Wish I'd Had From Day One

Here's what I realized:
I didn’t need another tracking app. I didn’t need more charts or numbers or another place to log my food.
I needed support when I was stuck and didn’t have anyone to ask.
When I was staring at a menu.
When I was worried about my numbers and what they might mean.
When I felt overwhelmed or uncertain.
When it was 2am and nobody else was awake.
I needed guidance in the moment—not waiting for the next appointment, not digging through Google, and not sorting through hundreds of conflicting opinions in social media diabetes groups.
Someone who could help me understand my options and feel more confident, and say:
“Here’s what may work. Here’s what to consider. Here’s why. You’re not alone.”
Not more data—clear, supportive answers.
Not more advice—better understanding.
It helped me stop overthinking and feel more supported in my day-to-day life.
And now it’s here for you.
